About Mirror of Wisdom

Mirror of Wisdom (formerly known by its Tibetan name, "Yeshe Melong") was established in the early 1980's by the Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche. It serves as the media and archives of Pacific Region Yeshe Nyingpo and other centers under the direction of the Ven. Gyatrul Rinpoche.

We are a non-profit organization devoted to propagating the sacred tradition of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism and the ancient Nyingma Lineage through the production and distribution of written books, texts, and audio-visual materials with the motivation to benefit all beings. All proceeds are offered to aid these activities.

Under the Ven. Gyatrul Rinpoche's guidance, we are pleased to offer a wide collection of practices and teachings which we hope will accommodate the needs of both new and advanced Dharma students.

Mirror of Wisdom relies largely on the efforts of devoted volunteers. The longevity and growth of Mirror of Wisdom and our ability to archive, produce and distribute these precious materials is enhanced by patron support of the materials we offer, support through donations, and by volunteers who devote time and effort through service to the organization with pure motivation.
