Mirror of Wisdom was established in the early 1980's by the Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche, with the intent to archive and propagate the sacred tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

Today Mirror of Wisdom offers a collection of published Dharma books, contemporary Buddhist commentaries and teachings, sadhanas (practice texts) as well as traditional Tibetan pechas (scriptures). We also record the current transmission of Dharma in the West, and produce audio and video of oral teachings and liturgical practices. Mirror of Wisdom also has a large collection of photographic images of sacred Buddhist artworks, ritual supports and portraits of revered lamas. The majority of resources found here represent the authentic Nyingmapa Lineage of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism. You will find that the diverse materials offered accommodate the needs of beginning Buddhist practitioners as well as advanced Vajrayana and Dzogchen students. We are a nonprofit organization and proceeds generated by Mirror of Wisdom are applied to help directly support the preservation and propagation of Tibetan Buddhism for future generations.

For the latter part of March and the month of April, our regular volunteer staff will be attending and facilitating empowerments at Tashi Choling and Orgyen Dorje Den dharma centers. Please bear with us during this time! We will respond to emails and orders as quickly as we can.

For March 9th-27th, we will not be able to ship packages. For the end of March and the month of April, we will process orders but delays are likely.
